HCR proudly has more than 1500 cows in extensive regime, fed exclusively on natural pasture, with the goal of generating high quality calves. About 35% of our cows are pure, the rest being crossed, with the ideal characteristics in terms of rusticity and maternity. Of the more than 4500 ha managed by us, 3000 are dedicated to raising calves. We have approximately 40 pure breed bulls, of the Limousine , Charolais , and Aberdeen Angus ( Black and Red ) breeds. Both at the level of the cows and the breeders, a biannual evaluation is carried out, in order to screen the animals that for some reason no longer meet the quality standards required by us, thus ensuring a high fertility rate for our cattle as well as a level of sanity quite high.
